      I purchased a new Chevy from a dealer in SLC and it's needed service a couple of times. Because Smith Chevy is closer, I've taken it there both times and they've been OUTSTANDING.
      Jason Seay in parts was very helpful and went the distance to make sure things got done. He arranged for a dealership rental car at no charge so I could stay at home in Wyoming while my truck was repaired, during this pandemic.
      My recalls were done in a timely manner, and the price of my oil change was more than reasonable.
      The business is easy to deal with and I purchase my next vehicle from there.

      Smith Chevrolet will go all out to get you to do business with them.. but be wary if you expect anything from them "after the sale". Once they have your cash, you're no longer important.
      Oh, be wary of their so called vehicle inspection prior to the sale.. they don't actually do what they say, and leave the customer to fend for themselves with issues found afterward.
      Buyer beware..
      No home run here, def strike out!

      Go out of town to other dealers who will treat you like family

      One of the worst experiences at a dealership I've ever had. Bought a used 2021 f150 from a sales man named "Mauro" little did I know the night mare I was going to endure with my new to me $40,000 truck. (Haven't even made my second payment)

      The sales man was very responsive and helpful during the buying process but made me feel rushed in it. However after the sale of the truck I couldn't get in contact about my headlights not working due to water being inside the housing. The salesman said it passed the pre inspections but how could it pass if there's water in the housings?

      Now that my headlights and fog lights have water in them the passenger side has completely stopped working and I have no lights on passenger side. Chevy said that it's not their problem and they aren't willing to help or look at it at all.

      In conclusion, the smith Chevy group does not believe in service after the sale. All they want is to make money and send you out the door. I know for a fact I won't ever shop here or recommend this place to any family or friends

      Absolute joke and waste of time. Do not recommend and do not go see the salesman Cody. He told us he would give us a great deal for a trade in and worked with us up until it was time to make the deal. I got off of work early to trade my truck and another vehicle in when he called me to tell me a car i was interested in was there. I had a family member follow me and change all of their plans to come with me to bring the other vehicle and when we arrived he was very short and rude. He told us he was not going to give us what he already told us he would and low balled us and gave off the vibe we were wasting his time. Worst service I've ever experienced and will not ever go back. Very disappointed in the company and the service there and it was a very big waste of the day. We took the vehicles else where and got a great deal and walked out with a brand new car. All around would not recommend. Very very unhappy and very disappointed. They don't even deserve a 1 star review.

      We purchased a brand new 2021 Chevy Blazer. There's a massive break line leak, I contacted our sales member Matt. He told me There was nothing he could do. So I talked to another manager, he told me there was absolutely nothing to help with. That the defect was not their problem (two weeks after purchase!!) My new Chevy blazer is sitting in a Subaru parking lot unable to drive. Smith Chevrolet wouldn't even pay for a rental car for two days until GM opens for repair. As a working mom of 3 kids they should offer some assistance, they have zero respect to amend the situation. This is the absolute worst experience!
      Originally, immediately after we came up to purchase the car, was told it was on shipment, wasn't there a week around estimated time delivery. The car is beautiful, Matt could have been more commutative. He would only talk to my husband (I AM THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE) and he didn't communicate with me about my vehicle. We also paid for the tint, that wasn't able to be finished a week after purchase. We purchased one week prior to delivery. Prioritization was not ideal on getting the tint or the detailing. Not to mention Brand new blazer already had a scratch on the tail light. They have not tried to assist with fixing that either. Car was covered in adhesive inside and out on the lights and the dashboard as well as mirrors. Detail should have been much better. Not happy about the cleanliness of our new vehicle or the scratch on the back, I wish the process for getting military discount was easier, prioritizing our detail and tint should have been so much easier with the extra time we gave the dealership given we drove there and back from meridian Idaho twice. It cost us twice as much to come pick up our vehicle than it should have because of lack of communication.
      The lack of respect they have for their customers is disgusting. They got their check and do not have any intention of continuing good service. My car's breaks are now completely defective. I will never EVER purchase through this company again.

      We bought a truck there on Monday and was told to return on Friday to install running boards. We brought the truck in on Thursday and Smith Chevy did the install on Friday and the truck was ready to pick up on Saturday. We returned Saturday and we were ready to drive off with the new truck and new running boards. We did a final inspection on the running boards and found the running boards were loose. The service department inspected the work and found that several bolts were sheered off. The service department stated they would order new bolts and reinstall the running boards. It's been almost a week since we've had this "new" truck and the service department is having issues removing the broken bolts. During this time no loaner vehicle was offered and we've had to return several times driving from Pocatello to Idaho Falls. There is also poor communication from Smith Chevy for any updates on the running board install as well.

      Smith Chevrolet was the least motivated and unprofessional place to make a sale I have ever encountered. I contacted them about a vehicle that I wanted to see more photos for as there was only one on the listing. The guy I spoke with never sent me photos and only wanted to try and push a sale. I had to contact another salesman to get photos and was told that the rust present was "normal and expected" on a 4 year old vehicle. It appears to me they are a bunch of dishonest people that try and sell junk and refuse to send photos and push the sale anyway to try and hide problems and deceive people. Looks at the other negative reviews. John Lake, the business manager, contacted me after a few days of radio silence and was threatening me when I expressed dissatisfaction with his employees. All the way up to management this place is a joke. I will not ever be buying from Smith Chevrolet and I will do all that I can to steer anyone I know away from them as well.

      Smith Chevrolet in idaho falls is a complete rip off they sold me a car that haven't even been checked yet they had it on showroom floor and website they let me drive off lot with it knowing things were broken played dumb had the finance guy "test drive" it not sure why when he doesn't work on cars at all. Told me nothing was wrong with it and I cannot even tow my trailer with it because it acts like it's going to blow up. Sold me on a truck that has tv for my kids when I tried it was week I bought it the TVs didn't work I let Brandon know and he said they were covered when I arrived at my appointment I was denied that service. they laughed in our faces won't fix anything and made us feel dumb. Will spread the word DO NOT GO TO SMITH CHEVY for anything. Pieces of crap and horrible service from staff! Go to TOYOTA ask for morgan. Don't get screwed over by Brandon n the staff at Chevy. I warned you! If I could give zero stars I would!

      My check engine light came on during a very long road trip. I stopped in to Smith Chevrolet for assistance. They told me they were unable to assist me until September 3. The man sat behind the desk after providing that date to me and simply stared at me with a blank stare. It was a very uncomfortable interaction.

      I understand that there seems to be a labor shortage currently with the pandemic. I would've appreciated some compassion and understanding.

      I called Richards Diesel and he suggested that I call Wackerli GMC. Wackerli GMC was terrific. They diagnosed the issue which they didn't have time to repair that afternoon, but they explained how to get my car home, and what to do if I saw certain things become worse. I really appreciated the price of mind that I know what to do and that I could wait to get home for the 19 hour repair that is needed.

      I bought one truck from them and not even two weeks later the head gaskets went out and took the block with it went it and talked to them and all they could say was "not surprised" like they knew it would happen and still charged me 20k
